Caitlin Clark remains the center of attention ahead of the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, though she won't play due to injury.

One of those incidents came earlier this year when Sun guard Marina Mabrey shoved Clark and received a technical foul, which the league later upgraded to a Flagrant 2. Jacy Sheldon hit Clark in the face on a steal attempt, and when Clark shoved Sheldon and turned her back, Mabrey entered the scuffle and pushed Clark to the ground.

The injury forced Clark to miss All-Star weekend and now continues to impact Indiana’s push for playoff positioning. The Fever sit at 12-12 and are clinging to the middle of the WNBA postseason picture, but they’ve gone just 4-7 without Clark in the lineup this year, including a loss in the Commissioner’s Cup title game.
