The Philadelphia Phillies are closing in on a deal to acquire star reliever Jhoan Duran from the Minnesota Twins, Ken Rosenthal reported Wednesday evening.

The Twins' flamethrower was reportedly traded to the Philadelphia Phillies Wednesday evening following the team's game with the Boston Red Sox.

The Phillies are acquiring the right-hander from Minnesota, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported. Pitcher Mick Abel and catcher Eduardo Tait are going back to Minnesota in the swap. Other teams interested in Duran included the Yankees, Mets, Mariners and Red Sox, per Heyman.
