The NFL has its new rules for the 2025 season. After months of debate, at least one key issue was resolved at Wednesday's owners meetings. While the NFL will look pretty much the same, there are a few key changes coming to the game for the 2025 season.

To make matters worse, the NFL chose the Green Bay Packers as the poster child for the rule change, to no avail. The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t take too kindly to that, but it will probably come back to haunt them in a year when this proposal most likely resurfaces.

The Jets were one of the ten teams to vote against the ban. The Super Bowl Champion Eagles have used the “tush push” to turn short yardage situations into almost automatic conversions. Using the mobile 6’1” 223 pound Jalen Hurts, the play has turned into a big advantage for Philadelphia.
