Struggling shortstop Trevor Story is not in the Red Sox lineup Sunday. He's 14-for-105 (.133) with two extra-base hits in 26 games since April 22.

Trevor Rogers delivered a strong start in his season debut and the Orioles’ offense did just enough to salvage a doubleheader split.

Over time, Saturday could be remembered as the day the Red Sox called up star prospect Marcelo Mayer from the minors. But the Sox still had business to take of as Mayer made his way from Worcester to Boston for the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Orioles.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said, "We might need to make decisions based on the roster on what we need not only tomorrow but in the upcoming days."
