Fire crews quickly contained a brush fire that broke out near the I-5 and highway 905 ramp, closing westbound 905 from Iris Avenue to I-5 north.

The brush fire, which had multiple ignition points near the intersection of Cheney Spokane Road and South Marshall Road, is now 100% contained, said Spokane Fire

Multiple fire crews are battling a brush fire on North Mountain. At around noon Tuesday, Phoenix Fire crews were called to the mountain, near 7th Street and Peoria Avenue for a fire. Smoke could be seen coming from the mountain.
