Twins star center fielder Byron Buxton left Saturday afternoon's game in Houston after being hit by a pitch on his left elbow. Leading off the top of the sixth inning, Buxton was drilled by a 95 mile-per-hour sinker from Astros starter Hunter Brown.

There was understandable concern from Twins fans at the time of Buxton’s exit, and an update has since been announced by the team. Per Betsy Helfand of Pioneer Press, the Twins announced Buxton was removed with a left elbow contusion.

Byron Buxton rejoined the Minnesota Twins lineup in Seattle after they activated him off the IL on May 30, and he has done a bit of
