Knoxville police responded to a shooting on Chapman Highway Friday night, according to KPD officials. The department has since identified a suspect, but he is not in custody. It happened near the Casey’s convenience store in the 4600 block of Chapman Highway,

The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near a gas station on Chapman Highway Friday afternoon. Knoxville Police released that around 5 p.m. officers responded to a shooting near Casey’s convenience store in the 4600 block of Chapman Highway.

A 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times at a Shiloh gas station Friday night, according to a news release from the Shiloh Police Department. The police responded to the King’s Mart at 1551 Hartman Lane at about 7:43 p.

A teen was shot multiple times and injured Friday night at a Shiloh gas station. The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Friday at the King’s Mart on Hartman Lane. Shiloh police said the 16-year-old was in the passenger seat of a car parked in the King’s Mart parking lot when he was shot.

"After being shot, the victim exited the vehicle he was a passenger in, walked into Kings Mart and collapsed," a police spokesperson said.
