Charli XCX is getting ready to dive into the world of Hollywood. The Grammy-nominated musician will produce and star in a forthcoming A24 film, appropriately called The Moment (well, she literally is the moment).

Among the confirmed performers are Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Shakira. Joining them will be most of the Best New Artist nominees: Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Ray

Charli xcx, meanwhile, has the opportunity to do something very funny this year, given that her song “Spring Breakers” from 2024’s Brat largely lists hypothetical acts of violence she fantasizes about enacting on a crowd at the Staples Center at an unnamed February event.

Fellow nominees Benson Boone, Teddy Swims and Raye will also be performing at the Trevor Noah-hosted awards show Feb. 2 on CBS

Charli XCX leads this year's Brit Awards with five nominations, including a nod for album of the year with Brat. She is also nominated for artist of the year, best pop and dance act and song of the year with Guess, featuring Billie Eilish, which went to number one in August.
