With a road game vs. the Black Knights, Scheyer honors Coach K's legacy while upgrading Duke's scheduling reputation

The legendary Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski receives a special recognition from the place where it all got started.

Duke men’s basketball is set for a special Veterans Day matchup Tuesday night, and a legendary figure will be honored before the game. The No. 4 Blue Devils (2-0)

The Duke Blue Devils and the Army Black Knights meet Tuesday at Christl Arena in West Point, New York. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

The No. 4 Blue Devils (3-0) shot 56.9% from the field, going 70% in the second half, while holding Army to 30.9% from the field. Dame Sarr led Duke with 19 points while Isaiah Evans 17 and Pat Ngongba II 16. Three other Blue Devils finished in double figures: Cameron Boozer (15), Darren Harris (15) and Cayden Boozer (10).

Dame Sarr, the freshman from Italy, had 13 of his 19 points in the opening eight minutes after scoring a total of 10 points in his first two games at Duke.

Duke had runs of 11-0, 12-0 and 17-0, and while Boozer was limited to 15 points, other Devils stepped up. Dame Sarr had 13 in the first half, finishing with 19. Isaiah Evans racked up 17, Patrick Ngongba got 16, Darren Harris had 15 and Cameron Boozer 10.
