Monday’s snowfall forced schools and Federal offices to close in the D.C. area. As the snow will continue into Monday night amid freezing temperatures, more closures and/or delays are expected on Tuesday.

With only light to moderate lake-effect snow expected into Wednesday, school closings are not anticipated in West Michigan.

Despite freezing temperatures and a biting wind, sunny skies Tuesday are allowing crews to clear roads across the region.
