Multiple Georgetown Co. agencies join search for woman reported missing in the ocean
The U.S. Coast Guard, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, and Midway Fire Rescue are all assisting in the search. GCSO stated that a man was helped from the water by Pawleys Island officers and said there was a woman swimming with him. She is described as an Asian woman in her 20s wearing a pink swimsuit.
Georgetown Co. deputies searching for missing woman on Pawleys Island
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Marine Units and the Pawleys Island Police have joined the search for the missing woman. Deputies reported a male swimmer who was helped from the surf and mentioned a woman was swimming with him, sheriff’s office spokesman Jason Lesley said.
