Justin Fields will go down as one of the biggest Steelers QB blunders in recent memory, as the dual-threat QB left the Steel City for the Jets this past offseason — and New York proved in the draft how much they value him.

The New York Jets recently signed quarterback Justin Fields to a two-year, $40 million contract following the departure of veteran signal-caller Aaron Rodgers. Fields was drafted by the Bears in 2021; before that, he was the man under center for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

New York is putting its trust in Fields for now, but with eyes set on 2026—and strengthens the defense with a familiar face.
