(CNN)– Lyft is offering 50% off rides to the polling station on Election Day as part of its Voter Access Program. The ride share app says people without cars are less likely to vote. According to a report released on Wednesday, Oct. 16, by Lyft, a one mile increase in distance to a polling site can reduce voter turnout by 20%.
