One player whose future at Manchester City has appeared uncertain for some time now is Ederson. Manchester City’s number-one keeper has attracted interest from Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
Manchester City have confirmed the signing of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders ahead of the Club World Cup. The Athletic reported last week that a club-to-club agreement had been reached on a deal worth an initial €55million (£46.6m) before add-ons.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have earned around €37m from Ait-Nouri’s switch to Manchester, taking Man City’s outlay to an eye-watering €300m in 2025, including deals in the winter transfer window. Most notably, City poured €70m into Eintracht Frankfurt’s bank account to lure versatile Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush to England earlier this year.
Ait-Nouri could comprise part of a youthful defence also holding Abdukodir Khusanov, Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol, although Vitor Reis will also anticipate some long-awaited minutes at the back in front of Ederson.
