The National Park Service will no longer offer free admission to Americans on Martin Luther King Jr. Day or Juneteenth, but will waive admission costs on President Donald Trump's birthday

With MLK Jr. Day coming up on January 19, we’re proud to host a special MLK Jr. Day Community Service Contest! Do you know a high school student who embodies the spirit of service and hope that Dr. King championed? Honor a student who has made a meaningful difference in their school or community by nominating them for this special award.

The McKinney Center in Jonesborough is hosting a food drive in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr. Between Thursday and Jan. 19, food items donated will go towards the Jonesborough Area Ministerial Association (JAMA) Food Pantry.

Youth Center in Bridgewater has provided educational and afterschool programs for children in Somerset County for over 50 years.
