Saints defensive end Cam Jordan was honored by the city of New Orleans for his consistent work with the youth in the community.

The New Orleans City Council marked the first "Cam Jordan Day" with speeches, highlight reels, and an appearance by the Edna Karr marching band.

On Thursday, May 8, the council recognized Jordan for his contributions on and off the field. Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson joined local and state leaders at City Hall to declare the day “Cam Jordan Day” and acknowledge the work he does in the New Orleans community, including youth mentorship and civic engagement.
