Mostly dry conditions stick around today and tomorrow. Looking ahead, the dry pattern will end Tuesday as scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll into the Heartland. On Tuesday and Wednesday, rain chances increase as a plume of moisture moves into the area. This will keep temperatures down around or below 90 degrees. After the moisture moves out, upper-level high pressure builds from the east, and temperatures return to the mid-90s, accompanied by afternoon rain and storms.
