NORFOLK — The Old Dominion women’s basketball team wanted to make a different first impression coming off of the holiday break and cruised to 82-59 victory Sunday over South Alabama in the Sun Belt Conference opener for both teams.

En’Dya Buford shot 8-for-11 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 at the free-throw line to lead the way with 19 points.
