Seattle was ranked as the second-best Fourth of July travel destination in a new list created by AAA based on its travel booking data.

A record number of travelers are expected this July 4 week. According to AAA, 72.2 million people will travel at least 50 miles from home through Sunday, July 6, throughout the U.S. Most of those travelers—61.

As the Fourth of July draws nearer, millions are expected to hit the road across the country. According to AAA, a record 72 million Americans are expected to travel around the country this weekend, which is up more than 2% from last year.
