A yellow warning for snow and ice affecting much of Wales has been issued until 11am. And a yellow ice warning has been issued for south-east Wales until 10.30am. As icy conditions persist, motorists are being urged to stick to major roads that are most likely to have been gritted.

Parts of Wales are set for another cold snap on Thursday, with two weather warnings in place for snow and ice. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice for parts of north, west and mid Wales from 00:15 GMT on Thursday until 11:00.
