Leeds United are close to completing the signing of defender Sebastiaan Bornauw from German side Wolfsburg. The two clubs have agreed a €6million (£5.13m) fee for the centre-back and he is set to undergo a medical on Monday. His Wolfsburg contract is set to expire next summer.

Leeds have signed Wolfsburg defender Sebastiaan Bornauw on a four-year deal for a fee of £5.1m. The 26-year-old is the third signing made by Leeds since their return to the Premier League following the arrivals of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol.

Bornauw moves to Leeds for a fee of £5.1m and has penned a deal to 2029. “I’m really pleased to be here, it’s an amazing club,” he told LUTV. “The Premier League was always my dream, and then to play for such a big club in England and in Europe, it's a dream come true.
