STAMFORD, Conn. – Ron Killings, known in the WWE as “R-Truth,” announced his release from the company after 17 years on Sunday. In a post on social media, Killings informed of his release and thanked the company and fans for their support.

R-Truth recently competed against WWE Champion John Cena in a losing effort at Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24. His final match in WWE was a loss to JC Matteo on the May 28 episode of SmackDown.
