Browns defensive end Myles Garrett said near the end of the regular season that he wants the team "to be able to illuminate, illustrate" a path that will lead to winning in the immediate future because he's not interested in being part of an extended rebuilding process.

Denzel Ward improved as a Browns leader and would become the face of the defense if Myles Garrett were to leave. But Ward wants Garrett to stay.

With the Deshaun Watson restructure offering some early clarity on that lingering issue, the team still has Myles Garrett business ahead.
