A mysterious Georgia lottery player has claimed the historic $983 million Mega Millions jackpot, which is the largest in the state’s history.

A Macon resident hit the jackpot and won over $450,000 on a lottery drawing last week, according to a news release from the Georgia Lottery Monday. The resident purchased the Fantasy 5 ticket on the Georgia Lottery mobile app and matched all numbers, according to the Georgia Lottery. The five numbers were 01-08-14-22-26.
