Massive wildfires began tearing across the Los Angeles area Tuesday, forcing Southern California residents to evacuate the area. Towering clouds of smoke caused by the fires have Nevada residents wondering if that smoke could be heading this way.

On Wednesday at 4 p.m., firefighters from the Stratmoor Hills Fire District packed up and made their way to Southern California to help battle the wildfires tearing across the western coast.
