Coach John Beam, who was featured on season five of Netflix docuseries Last Chance U, has died a day after being shot on the Laney Community College campus.

Cedric Irving Jr. has been identified as the suspect in the shooting of Laney College Athletic Director John Beam, who appeared in Netflix series Last Chance U.
