The Boston Red Sox lost yet another one-run game, this time allowing the defeat to complete a three-game sweep by the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.

Justyn-Henry Malloy hit a pinch-hit single in the ninth to end the game and give the Tigers a 6-5 win over the Red Sox on Wednesday night.

It will be a tall task with Tarik Skubal on the mound for the Tigers. The 2024 Cy Young winner has allowed just four runs in his last six starts, striking out 50 across 37 innings while issuing just one walk.
