Sri Lanka president thanks Pak PM for India match boycott withdrawal
India, Feb. 11 -- Sri Lanka's President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has thanked Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for directing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to end the boycott of their T20 World Cup match against India here on February 15.
The Rangiri International Stadium in Dambula is all set to host the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series between Sri Lanka (SL) and Pakistan (PAK) on Friday, January 9. The visitors are 1-0 up inb the series after winning on Wednesday by six wickets.
In the 2009 World T20, Pakistan clinched their second ICC title, led by Shahid Afridi, amidst the evolving landscape of T20 cricket.
