Abby Zwerner has filed a $40 million lawsuit against former school administrator Ebony Parker, saying Parker failed to act when several people approached her with concerns the boy had brought a gun to school.

A physician testified that Zwerner can no longer make a tight fist with her left hand, which has less than half its normal grip strength.
