The order will include financial sanctions and visa restrictions against ICC officials found to have assisted in investigations of U.S. citizens or allies.

The Hague-based body has created a "shameful moral equivalency" between Hamas and Israel, the White House says.

The order Trump signed accuses the ICC of engaging in “illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel."
