The UFC always pulls out all the stops for its annual visits to New York City, and this Saturday's UFC 322 card is no exception.

Of all the welterweights competing at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night — of Leon Edwards and Carlos Prates, of Islam Makhachev and the champ Jack Della Maddalena in the main event, or his opponent Brady — Morales is the only one who has never had to wake up the morning after a fight and ask himself what went wrong.

UFC 322 has a case for being the year's best pay-per-view on paper. Two superfights -- Islam Makhachev vs. Jack Della Maddalena, and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Weili Zhang -- sit atop the marquee, with an undercard packed with contenders and a former champion.

Three undefeated fighters are on the UFC 322 undercard, including Malcolm Wellmaker (10-0), Michael Morales (18-0), and Baisangur Susurkaev (10-0). Wellmaker’s opponent Cody Haddon withdrew on fight week and the promotion had to scramble for a short-notice replacement.
