A new report from the National Research Council finds that 15 doctoral programs at the University of Washington are tops among their peers at major universities across the country.

Beginning in the 2012-13 academic year, students can enroll in the doctoral degree program with a master’s or a bachelor’s degree. Already, 27 students are enrolled in the program for fall 2012.
