20th Century Studios has announced a VHS release of Alien: Romulus. For some of the younger IGN readers, VHS (Video Home System) was the dominant physical media format of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. The tapes were eventually replaced by DVDs, which came in the mid-to-late 90s before total dominance from the 2000s.

Come December 3 (the same day as its other two physical releases), 20th Century Studios is putting Romulus on fully functional tape for you to watch…provided you’ve got a VCR on hand. This is a limited edition version of the movie,
