An atmospheric river storm brought heavy rain and strong winds throughout the Bay Area and Monterey Bay on Thursday, leaving behind flooded road and downed trees in communities across the region.

Parts of Los Angeles County will be under evacuation warnings starting Thursday evening as a complex storm system moves in.

“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent,” the NWS said.
