San Francisco: US aerospace giant Boeing has signed a contract valued at $7 billion to supply 12 of its 787 Dreamliner aircraft to Gulf Air, with options for six additional jets. The agreement, announced Thursday, comes as the Bahrain-based airline seeks to expand its global reach and modernise its fleet.
Air India plane crash investigators have found both of the Boeing 787's "black boxes," hopefully brining an understanding of the cause of the disaster a step closer.
The crash deals a fresh blow to the beleaguered U.S. plane maker, which has been mired by safety and production issues in recent years.
Jennifer Homendy has backed Indian investigators' appeal for restraint following reports that the captain moved fuel control switches to 'CUTOFF' position.
AAIB on Saturday released its preliminary report on the crash of Air India's Boeing 787-8 plane that killed 260 people, including 241 people onboard.
