Charles Schwab Challenge is in full swing and we're tracking all the PGA Tour golfers trying to make the cut after Friday's second round.
After starting Saturday sharing the lead, Ben Griffin and Matthias Schmid continued their control of the leaderboard at the Charles Schwab Challenge with the pair nursing a 4-stroke lead headed into Sunday’s final round. Schmid, a German native and PGA Tour rookie, started his day with three straight birdies, showcasing his putting prowess.
Scheffler birdied his first two holes before a trio of pars. He then birdied Nos. 6 and 9 to make the turn in 31. He birdied the 10th before making a 15-footer for eagle on the 11th. Scheffler extended his cuts made streak to 55 on Friday in his home state of Texas. Xander Schauffele holds the active cuts made streak on the PGA Tour at 64.
