A Coleman man remains barricaded after exchanging gunfire with Michigan State Police, injuring a 12-year-old girl.

No one besides the 12-year-old girl was injured, authorities said. WJRT-TV in Flint reported that one trooper was treated at the scene for frostbite when overnight wind chills dipped into the negative teens in the Coleman area.

A 12-year-old girl inside the home was injured and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. She is in stable condition. No other injuries were reported and how she was injured was not specified. Police are asking people to avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
