Baena and actor Aubrey Plaza, who were married in 2021, collaborated on several films, including the 2014 movie “Life After Beth.”

The Sundance regular was known for such films as 'I Heart Huckabees,' 'The Little Hours' and 'Life After Beth,' among others. He and Plaza worked on five features together.
