A lieutenant with the Orange County Sheriff's Office was murdered by her estranged husband earlier this week, who was also a former deputy, according to officials.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says Lt. Eloilda “Ellie” Shea was shot and killed by Anthony Shea on Oct. 14.
