As Harvard University fights two federal lawsuits against the government, reports of a “mindbogglingly HISTORIC” deal with the Trump administration drew apprehension from the institution’s community and higher education leaders.

While Harvard has not confirmed that it is negotiating, the White House sees Harvard as more willing to work with it.
