David Webb was inadvertently struck in the side of the head by Leicester forward Jordan Ayew as he ran past him.

But the game's main talking point was when match referee David Webb hit the floor after being accidentally shoulder barged by Ayew. As Webb clutched his face on the floor, the 38-year-old ran over the stricken referee and blew his whistle to halt a Southampton attack.

Jamie Vardy scored an excellent goal against Southampton before intervening to stop play when the match referee suffered a worrying injury.
