This former UConn Huskies standout reportedly signed a deal with the Indiana Pacers following the conclusion of the 2025 NBA Draft.

A sharpshooter out of Liberty, Taelon Peter shot 45% from behind the arc last season and led the NCAA in true shooting percentage.

Out of nowhere, the Pacers selected Liberty guard Taelon Peter with the 54th overall pick of Thursday night's second round in Brooklyn. Indiana's pick raised a lot of eyebrows, as he wasn't expected to hear his name called during the second round. The Pacers likely valued his shooting, as he shot 45.3-percent from the 3-point range last season.
