There were no threats or expected tropical development near Florida as flooding rains in a disorganized tropical depression approached Mexico.

Tropical Depression Six-E formed in the Eastern Pacific Ocean early Sunday morning just off the coast of southern Mexico and is expected to become a hurricane early this week, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

The depression is expected to strengthen over the next 24 hours, likely to hit the Mexican coastline Monday as Tropical Storm Barry.
