Mexican club Cruz Azul clinched a record-equalling seventh CONCACAF Champions Cup title with a crushing 5-0 victory over Canada's Vancouver Whitecaps in the final at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday.

Vancouver are just the third Canadian club to reach the CONCACAF final, following in the footsteps of Montreal (2015) and Toronto (2018), who both fell short against Mexican opposition.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC hosts LAFC at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia on Wednesday, April 5 (4/5/2023) at 10 p.m. ET for the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal.
