Nwodim joined "Saturday Night Live" in 2018 ahead of Season 44 and earned repertory status for Season 46. In addition to "SNL," she has appeared in Peacock's "Poker Face" and "Mr. Throwback," as well as Netflix's "Little Brother."
Nwodim, 37, was known for her impersonation of Dionne Warwick; Veronda, the “rich auntie with no kids”; and her signature character, Lisa From Temecula.
Scarlett Johansson got her revenge! On May 17, the actress hosted the Season 50 finale of “Saturday Night Live” with musical guest Bad Bunny and made an appearance on “Weekend Update” to get payback on Michael Che for his NSFW joke about her during the Christmas episode.
“It’s always a transitional place, and I think it is always a launching pad,” he added, using co-star Kenan Thompson as an example. “I think that’s going to be true for all of the people who aren’t coming back. I’m so excited to see what they do. I’m excited for the new cast.”
