Crews from the city of Muskegon Department of Public Works started working to repair the water mains Tuesday morning.

Businesses along Western Ave in Muskegon were going to have time to plan for repairs of a water main break discovered Saturday... That is until a second break was discovered nearby.

Personnel with the Dearborn Department of Public Works were in the process of repairing the leaks Sunday afternoon.

YPSILANTI, MI - An Ypsilanti street is closed after a water main broke, city officials said Monday morning. North Huron River Drive from Forest Avenue to Lowell Street is closed while repairs are underway, the city said in a Jan. 27 social media alert.

Henninger High School at 600 Robinson St. will be closed, according to Amanda Malinowski, director of media for the school district. The school is closed due to a water main break in the city of Syracuse, she said. The district did not say how long the school would be closed or when the water main break would be fixed.

MILWAUKEE - There have been around 100 water main breaks in a month and Milwaukee Water Works says it's unusual, but they are prepared. Milwaukee Water Works Superintendent Patrick Pauly said there have been nearly 100 water main breaks in January alone. He said that’s well above average.

The boil water advisory for Marietta has been lifted as of Sunday morning, according to officials. Marietta Water issued a boil water advisory on Friday after a water main break occurred in the area around Lawrence Street and Covington Avenue. Water samples were sent for testing and the water is now safe to drink.
