Dropbox Transfer encrypts the files you share to protect them from unwanted access.

Dropbox announced that it’s rolling out Dropbox Transfer, a new way to easily share files without also sharing access to your originals, similar to services like WeTransfer.

Using Dropbox, you can back up and restore selected folders and files online.

Dropbox Transfer has now been made available for all customers. The feature lets users share up to 100GB files with a few clicks.

Some files are simply too big for an e-mail, but with specialized online services like Gmail and Dropbox sharing still works.
