Following back-to-back losses, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are officially out of the Associated Press' Top 25 poll. The Zags lost back-to-back games in West Coast Conference (WCC) play for the first time in almost 10 years after losing to Oregon State on the road in overtime and to Santa Clara at home.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs have found themselves in an unfamiliar position this week: unranked in the latest AP men's basketball poll.

A skid for the Zags has consequences as the team falls out of the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time this season.

The No. 16 Gonzaga Bulldogs (14-4, 5-0) are on the road to take on the Oregon State Beavers (13-5, 3-2) in a West Coast Conference matchup. It’s time to continue our College Basketball odds series with a Gonzaga-Oregon State prediction and pick.

The Zags also lost to No. 19 UConn (77-71 in New York City) and No. 23 West Virginia (86-78 in overtime in the Bahamas). GU has no victories over current top 25 squads – Baylor fell out of the rankings after being No. 25 last Monday – or any wins over teams in the receiving votes category – San Diego State went from four points to zero.

This is coach Wayne Tinkle’s best performance at home since his first year in Corvallis, when Oregon State produced a 15-2 record at Gill in 2014-15. Since the 11-1 record in 1989-90, the Beavers have had only four two-loss seasons at home.
