Following back-to-back losses, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are officially out of the Associated Press' Top 25 poll. The Zags lost back-to-back games in West Coast Conference (WCC) play for the first time in almost 10 years after losing to Oregon State on the road in overtime and to Santa Clara at home.

GU has no victories over current top 25 squads – Baylor fell out of the rankings after being No. 25 last Monday – or any wins over teams in the receiving votes category – San Diego State went from four points to zero.
This is coach Wayne Tinkle’s best performance at home since his first year in Corvallis, when Oregon State produced a 15-2 record at Gill in 2014-15. Since the 11-1 record in 1989-90, the Beavers have had only four two-loss seasons at home.
