Kevin Durant is now a 15-time All-Star after being voted a starter for the West in the 2025 NBA All-Star game on Feb. 16.

Denver elected to go with a new starting lineup in the game. They moved Aaron Gordon back into the starting rotation and moved Christian Braun to the bench. Of course, they also kept Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup.

SAN FRANCISCO — The first of what is expected to be five jersey retirements from the Golden State Warriors dynasty has been announced. The franchise will retire Andre Iguodala’s No. 9 jersey on Feb. 23, coinciding with another Klay Thompson return night, allowing Thompson to attend.

For those unfamiliar with the All-Star starter selection process, fans make up 50% of the vote for two guards and three frontcourt players (forward or center) for the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. Current NBA players account for 25% and a media panel accounts for 25%. Players can vote for themselves, by the way.

Lakers star LeBron James and leading vote-getter Giannis Antetokounmpo highlighted the NBA All-Star starters who were unveiled Thursday night.

Anthony Davis led LA with 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Austin Reaves had 23 points, three rebounds and six assists. LeBron James finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Kristaps Porzingis led Boston with 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

Once again, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named an All-Star starter. This is the ninth consecutive year Antetokounmpo has been named an All-Start starter and his ninth All-Star game selection overall.
