Southeast Texas is under an Extreme Cold Warning through Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service forecasts hazardous to near-impossible travel conditions at least through Monday morning.
Temperatures will continue to drop this evening, however.
Several Houston-area school districts will cancel classes and after school activities Monday ahead of Texas' winter freeze.
